The DHE Initiative Vision & Mission

MISSION

 

The mission of THE DHE INITIATIVE is to provide cost-effective, in-residence services and support for institutions that will result in increased outcomes in the areas of institutional operations and co-curricular programming.  Working side-by-side with college and university officers and staff, THE DHE INITIATIVE will proffer professional development and technical assistance that will address organizational goals in addition to heightening student engagement.  Our strategic blueprint includes:

 

  • Institutional assessment, analysis, and action planning aligned to the institution’s strategic plan;

  • Articulation and implementation of best organizational practices;

  • Direct participation in newly developed operations and programs; and

  • Leveraging technology for organizational efficiency.

 

VISION

 

The acquisition of 21st century skills is a common goal of educational institutions and, according to research, increases opportunities for employment in addition to a better quality of life for students beyond graduation.  To this end, THE DHE INITIATIVE endeavors to increase post-secondary readiness, participation, and completion for all students by assisting educational institutions with resources that enable them to recruit, enroll, retain, and graduate students, thereby meeting its institutional mission and short- and long-term strategic goals.
